Hi due to a power outage our PBX was rebooted. Everything is pretty much up except I get a noticeable 'lag' before the line rings to the outside number. This happens when dialing from within the system to an outside line.
I think this is due to Nortel resetting itself to pulse dialing instead of tone. Can someone please help me on how to change the dialing from pulse to tone?
Thank you in advance for any help!

This is not really what you would expect after a re-boot ?

I would suggest you look at possibly your FLEN lengths in LD 90 for your AC1 (Access Code) SPN's may have changed or possibly your Trunks have reverted to DIP (DialPulse) rather than DTN (Digitone)Depends if you have PRI or COT's

Cheers!!

Thank you so much everyone for the quick reply! As you guys have said,I do think the trunks have reverted to DIP (DialPulse) rather than DTN (Digitone). We have both PRI and COT. Would this be on LD 14 and if so, what would be the proper prompt for TYPE?

i.e.
REQ: CHG
TYPE: ??? <-

Thanks once again!
