Changing profiles for freeseating extensions

Hi there, first time posting here

I am changing some ODN's to generic on the Ericsson PBX we have here (BC10). The ODN's all have a profile 3 & 4 (for diverting to home and mobile respectively). When I change them to generics is there any way that the user can change to profile 3 or 4 themselves? I was in testing this today with a generic extension I setup but I couldn't get this working. The user's currently change the profiles on their ODN by inputting *10*3# (for profile 3, same for 4).

Can anybody help me?

Not easily in BC10. Users could do it via DISA. When we were BC10 our users had the switchboard operators changing profiles
