Changing position of splash screens and system dialogs

Have a twin screen setup used to run a special software, my problem is that the logon, splash screens and any system dialogs is divided with one half of the message on each monitor.
Is it any way to fool this type of screens to think the resolution of the screen is 800*600 not 1600*600 ??
