Problemo,

We've developed a new system witch uses sqlserver (with its Stored procedurs etc.), for Active service providing on the internet.

It's running well, but we still have a market for the intranet and they are very interested in our product, but sqlserver is to expensive for a small intranet.

Is it possible, at low costs, to change platform (like Acces?, so we can provide for the intranet??

Thanks,

B. MacGregor

You will need to rewrite all your stored procedures in plain SQL thru ADO. Also there are a few differences in SQL Syntax between RDBMS.

Assuming you are not using features inherit to just SQL Server the migration to another RDBMS is not hard. It is a pain and boring as heck but not very difficult.
