Changing Phonset Type

I have a BCM 50. Plugged in a T7316E where an older Norstar (M7310?) was. It just flashed continuously. How do I change the programming in Element Manager to update the phone? Thanks TJ

It should come up correctly, do you have the correct line cord connected (did you use the same lead as was on the older handset)?

I used the same exact plug that was in the old phone.

Your sure you didn't plug it into an analog outlet, cuz that's what it does, continually, rythymically flash.
