I need to know how to change the path for a subproject in a Master Plan using Project 2003. I have done this with previous versions of MS-Project. (But, it was a long time ago so the memory has faded.)
Here is the situation. We use EPM to maintain our Project work plans. Every week we download a copy and consolidate into a master plan then ship it to the customer. (This is a contractual obligation.) We now have so many subprojects that we are running into size issues. At previous companies, I have gotten around the size issue by linking to the subproject (versus inserting). I have tried going into the 'subproject file name' field and changing the path. It seems to work OK but changes back when I click off it (no error message). Any suggestions???
