I have a Windows 2000 SBS server, I want to change my Administrator password but on doing so, the Access database which runs on SQL will not allow me access until I chnage the password back.

Can anybody help with this?? any help would be gratefully appreciated as I am new to SQL I am tearing my hair out!!

Matt

First set up a user for the Access database. Then go into access and change all the connection strings to use this user instead of the sa user. This is a must no matter what, Access should not ever use sa or any other admin user as the connection string, this is a dangerous practice!

Then you should be able to change the admin password to your hearts content.
