Changing OWA port settings

I’m trying to change the port that OWN listens on but with no joy. I tried changing it to 8080 with the default web site settings in IIS but this did not work. I also tried making a new http virtual server and setting it’s port number to 8080 in the advanced setting still no joy now I’m lost. Any advise welcome

Can I ask what the purpose is for changing it? If you use SSL, you'd be using 443, and not 80
