Hi,

How do i change what number is being displayed on outgoing CLID. This is on an Option 11 running Rel 25.

Currently my service provider shows the main number which is the first number in the DDI range and is also the main billing number. I now want to display a different number on outgoing CLI. The number i want to display is part of the DDI range, but the service provider said if they were to do it they would need to completely rebuild the ISDN 30 and reconfigure the line from scratch.

Can i make a change somewhere in the switch to display the required number instead?

Regards

Ok, i have found that and it is option 1, but where are the differant options configured then?

Cheers

Do you have PRI circuts? If not you will probably have to get this changed at the carrier level. If you have PRI circuits and is controlling what number you send out you can try the above submission with ld 17 and then make a test call to your cell and see if the new number displays on outbound calls.

Is the CLID prompt in you Config set to YES.
To check go to LD 22.

i have changed the parm CLID to yes in LD 17 and have the following set up as well, but i am still getting the main number of the DDI range as CLID which the service provider is sending. If both the option 11 and the service provider is sending CLID, which will override the other?

Carrier may not have the entire DID range in the screening table. Therefore you are being over ridden by the CO. They need to allow you to send the DID number.

Turn on your Dchannel messageing and watch to see what you are sending. If you are sending the correct number contact your carrier.
