Good day.
In our company there are many Cube's in Excel files that have Cubes in them with old OLAP.3 connection strings.
The problem is that currently we use OLAP.4 connection strings when we setup Cubes in an Excel.
Some of the older Cubes are beginning to give problems and need to be moved to OLAP.4 connection strings.
I would like to know, is it possible to change the old connection to a new connection because I have tried to just browse to the new connection file or to just copy the connection string into the definition tab of the properties box but, the Spread Sheet does not save that connection.
The thing is some of the workbooks are so huge and have many Cubes in them along with formatting which I can't expect the users to change.
Could anyone make any suggestions of how I can overcome this problem ?
Regards
