Hello,
I am new on the NEC PBX system and need some assistance on the following;
1. changing of virtual number to IP device type
2. Re-registering of IP number after deleting. I use WebPro and delete the registered numbers used CMD 90-23 and cannot assign to any terminal.

Some expert advise would be very appreciated.

Remove the numbers from the numbering plan and add them back in the way you need them. What you did was completely not needed.

Ok so CoralTech is on the money. You need to remove the Virtual number in Cmd 11 (might be simpler to just replace it with a spare number). This will free the number up so that when you use the IP filter in PCPro you will be able to select it which will allow you to then program all the necessary details to use it as an IP phone.

As for reregistering an extension, do that from the actual phone rather than trying to do it from the system!

Thanks Guys.

For re-registering I did try registering on the handset whilst the system is in "10-46 Manual" mode but keeps coming back with error "Not found extension No.>>>Personal ID Index"

I might remove number from number plan and add back.

The phone you are trying to use was it set up previously with another extension number?

correct, was used with another number

In 84-22 the extension number and password are associated with an ID index which is then entered in 15-05-27. When you changed the extension number, you broke that link. Set the data back up and it will register, you can either find the old extension number's id and alter that or find an unused ID and set it up from scratch.
