Changing of passwords of PIX 520

I need to change the passwords of PIX 520. I read that I should type enable password (password) for privilege mode and simply type the word "password" when changing the password for the user mode. My question is, how do I save it?

Is it the same as saving the config in routers? Please give me all the details. Thanks.

connect to the pix and entered into enabled mode
enter configuration mode
type passwd <password>
now type write mem

and you are all set with your new password.
