Hi,
We are doing some changes to our network infrastructure and will be moving our Nupoint server to a different vlan. The IP of the controllers will not change.

I am still chugging through the Technicians Manuals but if I understand correctly, as long as the routes/fw issues are configured properly (they are) I would just need to change the Ip of the server. I dont see where the Nupoint server ip is configured on the 3300. I think I saw the 3300 ip in the Nupoint config but the 3300 is not changing.

Thoughts?

Thanks
Drew

Hi

The NP server address is not configured in the 3300 controller

Regards

The IP of the Nupoint Server is changed from the console screen.

Hookup a keyboard and monitor to view the console.

Select - Configure this server.

The server will automatically reboot after the changes.

You will need to modify the local networks afterwards to include the local networks that it needs to talk to (i.e. 3300). This can also be done via the console (depending on MSL SW version)

Personally, I strongly suggest you keep all voice controllers and servers in the same VLAN.
