Changing names on the phones when dialing from another extension

I'm trying to change the name of 2 phones. I've gone into Feature 981 and changed it there, but I've noticed when I dial my extension from another extension in the office, it still says the old name when it's dialing my extension. I hope this makes sense.

Can someone please help???

Feature 981 is only for opening a mailbox.

You need to go into the phone programming as Vmail and phones are two different systems on the wall.
Phone side:
Press Feature ** 266344
Pswrd= 23646
Press SHOW (button across form line 1)
Enter the EXT # you need to change.
Press SHOW
Press NEXT (button across from line2) untill you see the name then use the soft keys under the screen and press change.
Spell the name with the numberpad.

Next go into Vmail programming.

Press Feature 983
Press 120000, or 121234
Press MAILBOX
Press CHANGE
Enter mailbox #
Press next untill you see name.
Use number pad to change name and # to move cursor.

You changed it on the voice mail side now you need to change it on the system side.

Feature**266344
Enter Password (Default is 266344)
Terminals and Sets - "Show"
Show Set: "Enter Extension Number"
Ex: 2221
The Screen should be this:
2221:OLD NAME>
"Show"
"Next"
"Next"
The Screen Should be this:
Name: OLD NAME (Clr and Change will be on the soft keys below this)
"Change"
The Screen should be this:
Name:
Enter New Name Using the Dial Pad Keys
"Next"
Use the Back Button at this time to get back to the Ext List and then do the same process for any other ext's.
