changing multiple text blocks

I have what probably amounts to a very simple question. I am wondering if there is a way of highlighting or otherwise being able to change text in different text blocks all at the same time. I have a document with like 20 different blocks, and want to change the font and size, for example.

There is a very simple way of doing this...but it looks like the first step has been missed.

Goto the edit/style sheets pull down....you can apply styles to paragraphs, rules, formats single characters in this floating window. Once applied to the copy...changes can be made globally to the document by editing the syle in question.
