I am looking for a way to change passwords on multiple systems - without having to log in to each system (approx. 200 at this time). Is there a password utility that would allow me to do this? Free/cheap is preferred as upper management wont allocate any money nor do the see the problem with having to change 200 passwords every 45 days.

or to put this another way, how do you (admins) change your passwords on multiple systems?

You could implement Network Information Services (NIS). That would keep all of your servers in sync.

Thanks for the tips. However... NIS will never happen here (long story involving management). LDAP is a possibility (again, long story involving management - they have been "looking" into this for the past 2 or so years) but probably wont happen any time soon.

I would prefer free/cheapware as I can slip that in and make use of it that way.
