hi all,

Where do I find the source code for a module. I want to modify mod_status.so to include more data about the webserver such as disk space , number of daemon processes running etc... Is they any way of doing this?

cheers
jim

Hi,

The source code is in the standard source gzipped tarball (from and, unpacked into /usr/src, would be here :

/usr/src/apache_1.3.19/src/modules/standard/mod_status.c

If you have a rpm binary insatllation you would need to install the source rpm , e.g. for redhat 7.1 :

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/7.1/en/os/i386/SRPMS/apache-1.3.19-5.src.rpm

Depending on distro, some source rpms just contain the tar.gz file plus local patches so you have to unpack it yourself.
