Changing MIB object permissions

Hi !!

Anyone knows how can I change a "read-only" value to a "read-write" value from the file "mib_ii.mib" in Windows 2000?

I have tried to edit this file with wordpad (it's a sad option, I know) but the system don't recognize these changes.

I would appreciate some help. Thanks.
