I have a movie playing as a projector file (not in a browser window). I want to click a button and have that button shrink the size of the window by 75 pixels or so. I'm guessing I'll have to use "setProperty" width and height. Not quite sure how to get it to work.

Might be wrong... But I doubt you can change the size of a projector that way!
What you could try to do is sort of doing an empty main movie in which you would load your present movie, sort of like loading a mc into an empty mc. The projector would then open to the size of this empty main movie and stay that way, but the inner clip's size (that can at the beginning be of the same size as the empty movie), could be manipulated through action scripting, as you're suggesting.

Why 2 threads?

I was affraid of that. Well, would you happen to know how to open a new window based on the same circumstances. I'm thinking I can close the main window and just open a smaller version of it. Oh, and the reason I used 2 threads is because I couldn't figure out why everyone but me was getting like 9 hits and I wasn't getting any. I did it out of desperation I guess. By the way thanks for helping me out.

I understand what you are suggesting and I've already tried it and it doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to open a new window??
