Changing Mailbox number in MSS

I have to change 1800 mailbox numbers in MSS version 3.1. So far I've found I can change them one at a time with MBM or using the MSS web interface. Is there anyway to do this in an easier fashion? Like export them, change them, re-import them?

I believe you can use ASA import/export feature or of course Provision. Just set them up initially in excel.
