I read that we can use the Migration Table Editor to mass replace our GPOs Software Installation settings share names from \\Server1\Share\ to \\Server2\Share\. When we do this, would the software in those GPOs attempt to redeploy?

We deploy at least 50 different packages via GPO and do not want our users to turn on their computers and start getting every package redeployed.

Bad news. I tried it on a couple of packages and they did redeploy. What I did was backup all the GPOs, create my migration filter and then import the policy back in.

Is there another way to do this so it does not try to re-deploy the packages?
