Changing Location/Country & Special Settings for Countries

Hi there,

if u start quick start wizard u can choose the location like Europe, Spain, France, Germany... for E1 & etc....

1.) Are there different settings for Spain, France and Europe even its the same MSC Firmware?

2.) If i restart the wizard i can choose a different location but if i have the same MSC Firmware no upload is required.... is there any chance to change location... for example.... i setted up spain but would like to choose france? how can i do that?

It's based on profile settings.
Different profiles enable or disable certain features in PRI/ETSI varying by country region.
For example some country profiles will not support MCDN.
North American profile will not support QSIG.
Some profiles support MuLaw and some support ULaw.
It is well documented in the installer's guide.
Once you choose your location in the BCM quick start wizard the MSC card gets it's new profile upload.
If you are looking for specific language settings for the BCM these can also be determined by wizard. Or by changing languages in CallPilot Manager.
