I think I may have painted myself into a corner.

I am using linked tables for my database, and now that I need to make some changes, Access won't let me. Specifically, I need to change one field in the main table from a "number" to a "text." Either that, or add a completely new text field, and work off of that.

But Access won't let me do either, noting that it won't let me "save property changes for linked tables." How do I work around this, or allow myself the changes?

Thanks!

Make the changes on the real table and then refresh the linked table with the table link manager.

Hope This Helps, PH.
