We were recently taken over by another company, and would like to change the name under which the Office 2000 Premium products are licensed, to reflect our parent company without completely re-building the machine(s). Such that when you select the "Help", "About Microsoft Outlook/Word/etc" option, the new company name is displayed.

I have searched through the registry but could only find a way to update the OS settings (Windows 2000 Professional).

Is there an easy and quick way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Office 97 stores it in the registry. Have you done a reg search on the old company name through the registry?

I recall seeing this asked elsewhere and there was a program to re register it.

Do a FIND in the registry and type your old company name exactly as it appears on the splash screens. This will help you find it not only for MSO, but all programs/installs. Were you not able to find it?

Thanks, guys. I did exactly that, and sorted it out.

Thanks again.
