I have a logitech wireless keyboard installed my operating system is Windows XP Pro.
I want to remove the keyboard and fit a PS2 keyboard but am having problems.
I uninstalled the driver for the Logitech then plugged in the PS2 when I booted up I received the message:
No Keyboaard press F1 to continue or Del to enter Bios.
But neither of these 2 keys done anything the system had froze up. I had to switch off and unplug the PS2 to get back into my system.
With the Logitech keyboard back in I went into the Bios to see if there was anything relating to the keyboard.I only found two things.
One is listed as Keyboard Features and states: Boot up Numlock status On.
The other which I am not to sure has anything to do with the keyboard is:
USB Legacy Support: Auto.
I would appreciate any ideas on this.
Thanks
wallie

Check for a bent pin in the PS2 connector?

Andy.

USB Legacy Support: Auto.

That has something to do with the Keyboard and/or Mouse. See what the other settings for it are. All I have seen will allow the PS/2 use.

Also, while in BIOS, change "stop on errors" list to ignore the keyboard.
