I am trying to help someone change their IRQ assignments on a new DELL 350 Precision. I, unfortunately do not have one in front of me. Can someone give me a quick step-by-step, so I can confidently direct this person? Your help is greatly appreciated!

I am going to assume this is XP.

Other than moving a board as far away from the AGP slot as you can get, there is little you can do without re-installing XP.

Under this drastic scenario you would hit F5 when XP asks if you want to install any third-party SCSI or RAID controllers. From the menu that comes up you select Standard PC. XP will then install.

By doing this you do not load the uni-processor advanced power models for XP, and the individual IRQs can be set in Device Manager.
