changing ip phone number

I have an IP phone with a generic number,

i need to change the number,,

1> AUCOP ok
2> PELPE
3> GEDIE, says terminal assigned

under SUDIP
dir= xxxx
equip pos =x-x-x-x
ip add =x.x.x.x

can I just change the DIR ? or I need to end this, does the user need to log off the terminal phone ?

Do IPURI and IPEXE to remove the IPphone.
IPURI logoff the phone from the LE32/IPLU
IPEXE remove the Generic Extension from the Ipphone fonction
