I changed the Ip address on SCO 5.05 server this morning.
I changed the Ip address from 192.192.1.2 to 192.168.1.2
The system seems to not function properly now.

All of my client machines can see the SCO box, however my SCO box can not see the rest of the network ?

I did notice when I boot the systems is trying to add a default gateway (192.192.1.11) I am not sure where this is coming from ?

I changed my S99route script, however thats not it. The error appears before the S99route script executes ??

It must be reading this information from somewhere ??

Any and all help or advice is welcomed

You might want to flush the routing tables and add the default gateway back in (same subnet as your SCO Box).

to flush the routing tables:

route -f or route flush

to add the default gateway back in:

route add default <ip_address_of_gateway>

Thanks chuck,

I flush the route table (route flush)
and added the default route

route add default 192.168.1.11

I could then see the rest of the network. (GOOD !!)

How is the deafult route established at boot time.

I added a script to /etc/rc2.d/S99route
However it failes because the default route is already established.

Any ideas on where its coming from ?

I found my answer

/etc/rc2.d/S90iproute

It points to this file:
/usr/internet/etc/sco_ip/routes

Here is the contents of that file:
net default 192.168.1.11

problem solved.

The gateway info you are seeing comes from the route table on the system. do a man on route and you will get the details on this. i would investigate the braodcast address and the gateway arress currently configured on your syetm. when you chnaged the ip you moved that machine from one calss c network to another, and the broadcast and gateway info may need to be updated to reflect that.
