Our company is changing its IP scheme. We have about 100 BCM of various vintages in the two states I cover (some very old from company we merged with). They do not use the IP except to do admin in BCM. Can I change the IP addresses and gateway remotely or must I be onsite?
Trying to avoid a lot of late night traveling.

We do the same thing. Yes, you can change them remotely.
(LAN1 IP 10.10.10.1 stays default) and we administer through LAN2. We have modified LAN2 IP and Default gateway. I think you get knocked out once it's changed and then have to reconnect with the new IP address.

During the installation phase sometimes we couldn't connect as we had incorrect LAN2 IP information that the vendor had programmed in. We went in through the dial in modem, amended and then could access the system on the new IP address.

Remember to reboot the bcm for the change to take effect.
