Changing IP address on messaging

We have a Merlin Magix 3.0 and Merlin Messaging. Is there any way to change the IP address of the messaging through the IP interface as opposed to hyperterminal plugged into an RS232 port? TIA for any ideas.

You can connect via modem and hyperterminal to an internal modem in the Messaging. Set up the dialing string to call into the VM, and pause for answer before dialing "**3". When you get the "connected" prompt, press Enter, and you will be prompted just as if you were connected throught the serial port.
