Hi all

We have a costumer running Avaya Communication Manager with CMS Server, now he want to change IP addresses of all the solution (CMS, CM Server, IPSI Card...), so please how to change IPSI and CMS IP addresses ? and how many time it will take this intervention ?

Thanks in advance

Regards

to change the ipsi ip you can do it from shell of cm , or direct into the services port, Cm is done from the web console, and CMS is done from ASA in terminal 615 type , the log in as root swicth user to cms "su cms cms" and enter appropriate menu. You will then need to change your translations in cm node-nmae etc

For CMS the only way to change its IP address is through ASA ?

Thanks

no not the only way , that is just a method and probably the easiest , im unsure if you could run netconfig from linux shell i have never tried it.
