Hi All

Just would like some options.

I need to change the IP address of an Ent Man / OPS Server. Is it as si mple as just changing it on the NIC card and that's it?

Apart from chnging the IP address in all the elements!

Any gotchas>?

There should be no issue with changing the IP address, just remember to change the snmp information for alarm reporting on the 3300.

did a ip change on ent server not too long ago. no issues. what i did do though was to do an ops backup, change the ip address run the setup again and restored the backup.

hope this helps. took all of 30 minutes to do this

You'll need to change the IP address assigned on the managed PBX's as well. Where this is done depends on the type of PBX being managed. On a 3300ICP, this is done in the Controller Registry Assignment form.
