Changing inventory levels using bar coders not working. please help

I am stuck on this step:
I downloaded bar code guns into acceptable ASCII format to import into bar code -> import -> trx-> physical count tags it imports perfect no exceptions ok

I also created a batch ID through IM->process>inventory count and created a batch called test

Now when i go look at my inventory level after all this is imported i see NO change in my inventory level .. is there a step im missing???

I'm not much of a barcode guru but I will try.

Did you post the inventory tags?

Run a tag listing to see if they are still there. If so then post them.

Inventory count process is a batch process in macola, even if using bar code. This is so that you can review reports before actually posting. As Don said, you need to post to see a difference in on hand & the date you use for posting is important if you have frozen your inventory before posting.
