We are in the process of creating a web page that searches the Exchange directory using LDAP. If you search on surname or display name it is quite fast as the directory has these fields indexed. However, if you search on an un-indexed field such as department, the search is very slow. Anyone have an idea on how to add indexes or speed up the search?
