I currently have an MICS that has a PRI with 4 digits and they start with the # 4. a new PRI was added to the system and the carrier(different carrier) brought in 4 digits that start with the # 8. Is there any way to change this within the system with out disrupting the existing PRI?

There is no digit manipulation in an MICS. You need Telco to do that.

Adversity is Opportunity

If you are going to be using both PRI's for inbound calls, you will need to configure new Target Lines for each of the numbers beginning with 8 and assign them to your sets.

-SD-

Before the cut, program new target lines with the new rec digs. Assign the appropriate dn's as prime sets. Then, after the cut, remove the old target lines from the sets, and add the new ones.

Having good records helps a lot. To minimize downtime, this is the best way I've found to do it. Otherwise, the operator ends up fielding more calls than they can handle.
