Hi,
We have an IBM FastT600 Turbo. Both Windows and Netware servers connect to it. When the arrays were created, we were running Netware 5.5 and thus created the arrays as Host Type Netware-IBMSAN. We have since upgraded to Netware 6.5. As a result, we have now lost failover capability and need to change the Host Type for the hosts on the SAN to Netware-Failover. This is so we can use the native Netware failover capability. We have set the servers to use Multi-Path=ON, LSIMPE.CDM, etc, the only thing we havn't done is change the host type on the SAN.
Is there anything I need to be aware of before I do this? Will it break anything?
Thanks,
Cam.
