Hi

I am currently using a shared hosting plan with a dedicated IP. Emails are sent via a script to Sendmail but the first email header only shows my local username (not my FQDN, no IP and no HELO) and I am concerned this may be causing my emails to be filtered by some ISPs. Is there anyway to force the header to mydomain.com (IP XX.XX.XX.XX) and display the HELO statement? I have access to cPanel but I think Sendmail is controlled by the host. If its not possible to do this remotely could I load a local version of Sendmail and use this as my mail server?

Many thanks

James
