Changing greeting of General Voicemail

Hello,
My corporation has a nortel networks, norstar telephone voice mail system. How would I go about changing the voice mail greeting for the general mailbox. The general mailbox still says our old store hours and needs to be updated. Thanks for the help.

The Voice Mail box number for the "General Delivery Mailbox" is "100" for a 3 digit system, "1000" for a 4 digit extension system, etc. However, this greeting may not be in the General Dilvery Mailbox, it may be one of the Auto Attendant Greetings which is different.

To check the General Delivery Mailbox from any phone within your office, press "Feature 981". If you see the word “LOG” in the screen, enter your Mailbox Number (100 or 1000)+ the Password, then press “OK”. If you see the word “PSWD,” press the “OTHR” button, and the word “Log” will appear. Enter your Mailbox Number (100 or 1000), followed by your Password, then press “OK”.
