Hi,
I was wondering what the problems would be if on organization was phaseing out Novell and going with Microsoft network. They are not doing this all at once but at pieces at a time. I have a split access database were the backend is on a shared drive for a department and each user has screens linked to the backend on their desktop. Some of the users have been switched to microsoft already and some have not. The users that have not been switched to microsoft yet can see data in the database that the microsoft users can not. Can them not being switched to microsoft yet cause that.

One question is the share you set up on a microsoft network or a novell network? If it is on a novell network the users that are on a microsoft network will not be able to access the share unless they have the novell client loaded on their machines.
