Hello everyone,
We are working for a client that uses an ISP hosted mail service on the web. This client has now purchased Exchange Server 2000. Let's say their current domain is user@domain1.com. This client would like to keep the same domain name for their email addresses. The problem is that they have 10 remote sites spread around through the US. If we change the MX record now to point to the new Exchange Server all the remote sites client PCs using Outlook would have to be changed as well. Since this isn't possible is there a way to send mail to both the ISp and the new exchange server so that we can migrate the remote users over when we get out to the sites. Or is there a way to transfer only certain users to the Exchange Server and leave the rest retrieving their mail from their ISP. Remember they want to keep their current domain name for email.
Thank you
