This weekend we moved a client to a new office. They have a server running 2000 and exchange 2000.
They accessed their ISP on a dial up. The new office has broadband and we easily got all machines to browse the internet over broadband, including the server giving up the dial up route.
We couldn't however persuade the server to use broadband to collect and send mail.
We tried to set up a new connector (TCP X400) to get that to run alongside the dial up before changing it over to at least provide some service.
We were prevented from creating the conector though.
Is the X400 connector what we need and why couldn't we create it?
This system is dialling up until we find the solution.
