Changing from 4 to 5 Digit extensions

My office is trying to change the extension from 4 to 5 digits. We made sure verizon is sending us all 10 digits over the PRis and changed the MGCP gateways to set the significate digits to 5 but we still can't get a 5 digit extention to ring. Am I missing a something?

Under the Dial Peer / Translation patterns you can choose the forward digits and setup the patterns there.

i was gonna say translation patterns. you can strip the leading digits.

Couple questions, is the 5 digit directory number in a Partition that is in your Gateways CSS? Are you planning on doing a flash cut or a migration? Is the 5 digit directory number possibly overlapping with another pattern?
