need to change the two port exp.to a six port.will i lose programming.and can someone tell me if the trunck or sta ports will change.also what is the proper way to install fiber connectors on six port card.one more thing it trunk
ports change what will they change to.
thanks in advance.

In order to keep the default port and extension numbering, connect Trunk Modules to the Expansion Cartridge beginning at the top and working down; connect Station modules to the Expansion Cartridge beginning at the bottom and working up.

Trunk modules cannot be connected to the Expansion Cartridge in slot 1 (leftmost).

Curt2k:

If you have a 2-digit DN, you will now go to a 3 digit DN by default when you install a 6-port card. That's what happend to me when I installed my 6-port and reset my system. I don't know if you can 'prepare' your existing system by changing the DN before you install the 6-port card so you won't lose your custom programming.
