Hi all,

Is there a set of guide lines i should follow to change the existing FQDN on my Domain Controller running Exchange 2003? Will I run into complications? or should I uninstall my Exchange before making this change?

Thanks in advance.

James.

It is just not possible. You cannot change the name of the server that Exchange is installed on. it will not work. You can change the domain that it installed to, with a heck of a lot of work. I will try to dig up the MS kb article on it, but what if what you are trying to do is change the name of the server, can't be done.
