Changing Format type

Hello all,

I have a problem (I think) with the format types. My tapes on one server are formatted wit PRIME, and on the others they are formatted with FTSEEK. Does anyone know how to change the format type?? The problem i am having is The backups are successful on the sys volume, but are failing on the data volume with a TApe write problem

Any info would be appreciated
