Changing Fonts without opening the file

Hi all,

Does any one out there know of any way to change a font in multiple files created in Word 97 with-out actually opening them?

If you do know a way you would make an IT guy very happy and save me hours of work!

Can you write a macro and put it in the Start-up code and change the fonts that way???
