Changing files of software version in DERT

Recently I needed to use DERT several times on OpenStage 15 SIP phones. I noticed that DERT available at

https://hipath.tonidoid.com

(/Shared/Tools/Devices Emergency Rescue Tool (DERT)/SIP) is with V3R3.17 software. But I necessarily need DERT with the latest firmware.

After installing DERT, you will see files in the folder "\Program Files (x86)\DERT\TFTPServer" with the software:
V3R3.17.0000.SIP.HI
V3R3.17.0000.SIP.LO

At

https://hipath.tonidoid.com

in the folder "/Shared/OpenStage/SIP/15 SIP/15 SIP V3.4" I found the latest firmware: OS_15_SIP_V3_R4_10_0.img

How can I convert this file (.img) to the replacement software in the DERT folder (files .HI and .LO)?

Good luck with that! It appears to be frozen in time, and the version they use for HFA has known issues with bricking phones.

It is designed to be a recovery tool, so you need to recover the phone back to bootable with what you have and then push out the latest firmware (that you want to use) with the DLS server (which is free for limited use), or the trusty old fashioned manual FTP method....
