I installed one application on a Windows XP Pro Workstation as an Administrator which changed the file association of .txe files from Notepad to another application - which I didn't want. I changed it back to Notepad and it all seemed fine until another user logged on.
Then, I realised that the change only applied to the administrator. I guess the file associations for all users must be stored in the registry somewhere - can anyone give me any assistance.
Cheers....
