Hi there,

I'm want to highlight all fields on my form that have a null value by changing the colour of the field.

i would like this to happen when the user opens the record.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

regards,
Neil

Hi there,

I hadn't - i didn't even know it existed for Access, so once again many thanks for pointing that out.

I had a quick try, and set it to be that:

if my cell = (and didn;t enter anything) - and then changed the colour, but this didn't work.

I then centered "" for the condition, but once again, that didn't work.

What should the condition be??

many thanks once again,
Neil

How are ya Maillme . . .

Switch to [blue]Expression Is[/blue] and try: [blue]Trim([[purple]YourCellName[/purple]] & "") = ""[/blue]

See Ya! . . . . . .
