The location is having it's fiber removed temporarily so I need to change a Fiber connected MCC to DS1's.

Already ran the DS1's and connected to DS1c's. Partially installed the DS1c assembly cables on the DS1c's.

This evening my plan is
1. Busy the fiber link
2. Remove the Tranceivers from the SNI and EI and place the assemble cables
3. Change the fiber link to add the DS1c locations and appropriate coding info.
4. Release the Fiber link.
Cross fingers!!!

I appreciate any input on steps I may be missing or tips to make this go smoother. Gave myself and hour window to complete the service.

This went very smoothly.

Didn't work busying the Fiber link had to busy the SNI, removed the fiber link, then added the EI only? back to the circuit packs, then added the fiber link back with the DS1C's and released the SNI. Total time was only about 15 minutes with one tech on each side to install the cables.
